TL;DR
Finance Analyst (Commercial Finance): Analysing financial and operational performance for a UK business with an accent on forecasting, management reporting, financial modelling, and commercial insight. Focus on supporting pricing and profitability decisions, identifying trends and risks, and partnering with non-finance teams to improve performance.

Location: Hybrid working

Salary: £30,000–£40,000 per annum

Established UK business with a commercial finance function supporting performance and business decision-making.

What you will do

  • Analyse financial and operational performance, including revenue, costs, and profitability.
  • Support budgeting, forecasting, and business planning.
  • Produce management reporting and commercial analysis for senior stakeholders.
  • Build financial models to support business decisions and new opportunities.
  • Analyse pricing, commercial performance, trends, risks, and opportunities.
  • Partner with non-finance teams, support incentive calculations, and improve reports and processes.

Requirements

  • Studying towards CIMA, ACCA, or ACA.
  • Experience in a Finance Analyst, Management Accounts, FP&A, Commercial Finance, or similar role.
  • Strong Excel and data analysis skills.
  • Experience with forecasting, reporting, and financial analysis.
  • Ability to work with commercial data and explain financial results to non-finance stakeholders.

Nice to have

  • Experience with Power BI.
  • Experience in financial modelling, pricing analysis, or profitability analysis.
