Manager, Cybersecurity Platform Operations

What you will do

• Lead, mentor, and develop a team of Cybersecurity Systems Administrators and Platform Engineers.
• Manage service delivery, backlog prioritization, resource allocation, and enterprise security platform projects.
• Own the deployment, integration, patching, upgrades, optimization, and retirement of SIEM, EDR, CNAPP, SOAR, and vulnerability management platforms.
• Define and report KPIs and SLAs for platform uptime, log ingestion, agent health, and deployment coverage.
• Build health monitoring, alerting, auto-remediation, high-availability, backup, and disaster recovery capabilities.
• Manage vendors, licensing, capacity planning, configuration management, IaC practices, and compliance evidence.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in Information Technology, Information Security, Engineering, or a related field.
• At least 6 years of experience in cybersecurity engineering, systems administration, or platform operations, including 2 years leading or managing technical engineering teams.
• Hands-on administration experience with SIEM platforms such as Splunk, Microsoft Sentinel, or Elastic.
• Experience with endpoint protection, including CrowdStrike, SentinelOne, or Microsoft Defender for Endpoint, and cloud security platforms such as Prisma Cloud, Wiz, or Orca Security.
• Strong skills in Python, PowerShell, or Bash automation; CI/CD pipelines; Terraform or Ansible; enterprise operating systems; Active Directory or Entra ID; and AWS, Azure, or GCP.
• Strong stakeholder communication skills and the ability to explain platform health metrics in terms of business risk.

Nice to have

• CISSP, CEH, CISM, or another relevant certification.
