What you will do
- Create CFX effects for stylised and photorealistic characters and creatures.
- Build believable effects that match the visual style of each project.
- Develop scalable and team-friendly CFX setups.
- Work across advertising, long-form, and real-time productions.
- Troubleshoot simulations and support other artists when needed.
Requirements
- Professional experience with Houdini.
- Proficiency with the Vellum Solver for cloth, feathers, and hair.
- Ability to create strong procedural CFX setups.
- Strong troubleshooting skills and the ability to work independently.
- Flexibility and adaptability when working with new workflows.
Nice to have
- Experience using VEX.
- Knowledge of muscles in Houdini 20.5 or Houdini 21.
- Experience managing or supporting other artists.
