Quality Assurance Engineer

What you will do

• Review functional requirements and technical designs to identify quality risks and provide feedback.
• Test backend and frontend functionality, including APIs, business logic, integrations, asynchronous flows, and React-based applications.
• Design and execute functional, integration, and end-to-end test scenarios.
• Develop and maintain automated tests using Java or TypeScript with Playwright, Cypress, or Selenium.
• Test message-driven integrations with Kafka, RabbitMQ, or similar brokers and validate asynchronous workflows.
• Investigate defects, track them through resolution, analyze automated test results, and improve test coverage with developers and Automation QA specialists.

Requirements

• English at B2+ level and Russian at B2+ level.
• Hands-on experience testing backend functionality, APIs, business logic, integrations, asynchronous flows, and React-based web applications.
• Strong database knowledge and experience writing complex SQL queries.
• Experience testing Kafka, RabbitMQ, or similar message-driven integrations.
• Practical test automation experience with Java or TypeScript and Playwright, Cypress, or Selenium.
• Experience using AI tools to support software testing activities.

Nice to have

• Performance testing experience or collaboration with Performance QA teams.
• Experience mentoring, onboarding, or supporting the development of QA engineers.
• Participation in QA interviews or hiring processes.
• Experience applying AI across the software development and testing lifecycle.
