Strategic Sourcing Manager (Photonics)

What you will do

• Develop and execute strategic sourcing plans aligned with product roadmaps and company growth.
• Identify, qualify, and manage key suppliers, contract manufacturers, and strategic partners.
• Lead complex negotiations regarding pricing, lead times, capacity, and commercial terms.
• Drive cost optimization through early design engagement, market intelligence, and should-cost modeling.
• Ensure supply continuity and mitigate risk through multi-sourcing and performance management.
• Partner with engineering and operations to drive supplier selection and support NPI to HVM transitions.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Engineering, or Business.
• 10+ years of experience in strategic sourcing or supply chain management within semiconductor, photonics, or high-tech industries.
• Proven track record supporting NPI to HVM transitions in complex hardware environments.
• Deep understanding of strategic sourcing fundamentals, cost modeling, and contract negotiations.
• Experience working embedded with hardware engineering teams throughout the product development process.
• Must be based in Singapore.

Nice to have

• Experience in silicon photonics, optical transceivers, or advanced packaging.
• Familiarity with ERP/MRP systems and supply chain analytics tools.
• Experience building supply chains from early-stage to scale.
• Knowledge of global trade, logistics, and compliance.
