What you will do
- Review production material requirements and generate, schedule, and reschedule purchase orders based on MRP requirements.
- Coordinate purchasing plans with operations to maintain continuous material supply.
- Manage import operations and required documentation with suppliers, freight forwarders, and operations teams.
- Monitor material inventory, stock turnover, supply risks, shipment delays, and documentation issues.
- Identify, evaluate, audit, and manage suppliers while negotiating delivery performance and cost competitiveness.
- Support sourcing, price checks, new supplier qualification, audits, and project-related procurement activities.
Requirements
- Diploma or degree in supply chain management, business management, or a related field; chemical engineering is a plus.
- 3–5 years of experience in supply chain management or procurement.
- Bilingual English and Mandarin communication skills required for working with mainland China suppliers.
- Strong understanding of purchasing processes, supplier management, documentation, analytical problem-solving, and record keeping.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Adobe Acrobat.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities, meet deadlines, maintain accuracy, and resolve issues proactively.
