Senior QA Automation Python (Backend)

What you will do

• Participate in all stages of the product lifecycle, from concept through deployment.
• Develop and maintain test plans, test cases, and application documentation.
• Test backend services and analyse test results and service logs.
• Write and maintain automated tests for RESTful and gRPC APIs.
• Identify, document, and track defects using a bug-tracking system.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams and TechOps to improve quality management and testing practices.

Requirements

• 5+ years of total engineering experience, including 3+ years in test automation focused primarily on backend testing.
• Proficiency in Python and Pytest for automated test development.
• Experience with Docker, Kubernetes, CI/CD, Linux, Bash scripting, and backend service log analysis.
• Experience testing RESTful and gRPC APIs and understanding of client-server and microservice architectures.
• Basic SQL proficiency and experience with Kafka and Kibana, or the ability to learn them quickly.
• Familiarity with machine learning fundamentals and active use of AI assistants.
