Process Development Engineer

What you will do

• Develop, optimize, and validate manufacturing processes for new products entering production.
• Conduct PFMEA, define risk mitigation actions, and establish process layouts and corrective actions.
• Define and validate process windows using DOE, capability studies, engineering analysis, and trial data.
• Set processing parameters for welding, decoration, lacquering, assembly, and related manufacturing operations.
• Coordinate equipment and decoration-material procurement, prepare pre-production samples, and support customer approvals.
• Coordinate final process validation with Quality, Production, Tooling, Project Management, and customers before production launch.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or a related technical discipline.
• Experience in process development, manufacturing engineering, or new product introduction in a manufacturing environment.
• Strong knowledge of PFMEA, DOE, process validation, capability studies, and statistical analysis.
• Experience with PPS, PPAP, or equivalent customer submission and approval processes.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, project management, organizational, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and engineering software tools.

Nice to have

• Familiarity with welding, assembly, decoration, lacquering, or similar manufacturing technologies.
