Technology Site Consultant (MineStar)

Location: Full-time onsite work five days a week in the hirify.global Perth office; Adelaide or Brisbane offices may also be considered. The position includes up to 25% domestic and international travel.

What you will do

• Lead end-to-end implementations and upgrades of the underground MineStar product suite, including Command for underground and Fleet/Detect for Underground.
• Install, configure, commission, validate, and optimize application software, databases, reporting tools, hardware, and integrated systems.
• Assess customer business needs, technical requirements, infrastructure readiness, cybersecurity, network compatibility, and system integrations.
• Plan and execute deployment, upgrade, integrated testing, UAT, rollout, commissioning, and go-live activities across lab, UAT, and production environments.
• Provide technical training, customer and dealer support, problem investigation, post-deployment hypercare, and documentation for handover to support and operations teams.
• Follow implementation processes, support business analysis and functional specifications, and collaborate with internal and external customers.

Requirements

• Technical bachelor's degree and/or relevant experience in an IT, technical, or engineering role.
• Extensive hands-on experience implementing technical software systems, preferably in a mining environment.
• Extensive hands-on experience with IT system architectures, enterprise computing infrastructure, and cybersecurity.
• Hands-on experience installing, configuring, and commissioning heavy-vehicle onboard technology systems in mining.
• Knowledge of customer focus, service excellence, technical or business consulting, communication, problem solving, relationship management, technical solution development, and post-sales field support.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to build relationships with customers, vendors, and peers.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team.
• Ability to undertake up to 25% domestic and international travel.

Nice to have

• Experience in Fleet Management implementations.
• Experience in underground mining.
