TL;DR
Data Specialist (SQL): Analyzing customer requirements, validating diverse datasets, and designing data specifications across the production life cycle with an accent on database design, ETL processes, and information management. Location: Shanghai, China; 5 days per week in the office

What you will do
- Analyze customer requirements using conformed data models and design implementable, maintainable solutions.
- Assess data accuracy across large datasets in diverse formats.
- Research, design, and document data specifications throughout the production life cycle.
- Support database design, data structures, and entity relationship modeling.
- Acquire, transform, and load data from multiple sources into warehouses.
- Apply information management and agile development practices to improve technical performance.
Requirements
- Knowledge of software development and web technologies.
- Proficiency in SQL and other data programming languages.
- Working knowledge of agile development methodologies and lifecycle practices.
- Working knowledge of physical database design, ETL processes, and data modeling.
- Experience or knowledge in information management and information architecture.
- Availability to work in the office five days per week in Shanghai.
