TL;DR

Senior Software Engineer (GenAI) (Python/AWS): Developing and deploying generative AI services and machine learning pipelines for Caterpillar's digital solutions with an accent on large language models, prompt engineering, and cloud infrastructure. Focus on building FastAPI services, automating CI/CD with GitHub Actions, deploying AWS solutions with CloudFormation, and integrating LangChain, LangGraph, Semantic Kernel, and Crew.ai.

Location: Kosice, Slovakia; onsite role

Salary: €3,600+ gross per month; base minimum pay of €41,736 per year. Additional performance-related annual cash incentive.

What you will do

Develop and deploy generative AI solutions with Python and object-oriented programming.
Build FastAPI services and deploy solutions on AWS using CloudFormation.
Implement and manage CI/CD pipelines with GitHub Actions.
Work with LangChain, LangGraph, Semantic Kernel, Crew.ai, large language models, and prompt engineering.
Assist with machine learning and AI pipelines using Apache Airflow.
Provide implementation, problem solving, maintenance, and support within an agile software development environment.

Requirements

Senior-level software development experience and solid knowledge of object-oriented programming.
Experience designing and developing applications in Python and/or Go.
Knowledge of software development life cycle practices and structured software delivery methodologies.
Experience with Git in medium- to large-sized teams and with GitHub Actions or similar deployment tools.
Experience with AWS services such as SageMaker Studio, Lambda, API Gateway, and RDS.
Strong communication and technical writing skills, with experience collaborating cross-functionally.
