Senior System Power Supply Design Engineer (Data Center)

What you will do

• Design high-voltage AC-DC and DC-DC power solutions from concept through mass production.
• Design and optimize power electronic circuits for data center applications, including Vienna rectifiers, totem-pole PFC, LLC and other resonant circuits.
• Select components, evaluate second-source options, and generate simulations and engineering calculations.
• Develop schematics, supervise PCB layout, characterize circuits and components, and perform low- and high-voltage electrical evaluations.
• Prepare technical presentations, test plans, test reports, and other internal documentation.
• Lead technical design reviews and training for junior engineers while supporting customers, vendors, test engineering, manufacturing, and related engineering groups.

Requirements

• Degree in electronics engineering or a related field.
• At least 5 years of power electronics design experience in gate drivers, switch-mode power supplies, or power management; MS/PhD new graduates may also apply.
• Strong understanding of power electronics fundamentals and components including GaN, IGBT, silicon or SiC MOSFETs, gate drives, bidirectional switches, and analog/digital circuits.
• Experience with circuit simulation tools such as Simetrix/Simplis or PLECS, and PCB schematic capture and layout tools such as Altium or OrCAD.
• Good command of spoken and written English.
• Self-motivated, organized, resilient under pressure, able to work independently, and effective as a team player.

Nice to have

• Extensive experience with Vienna rectifiers, totem-pole PFC, resonant converters, and SMPS topologies.
• Knowledge of international standards such as DIN EN and IEC.
• Additional experience with power electronic components and switch-mode power supplies.
