Medical AQP Reviewer (Pharmacology)

What you will do

• Act as the AQP Signatory for the UK affiliate in line with the ABPI Code of Practice.
• Review and approve UK meetings, overseas meetings, travel arrangements, and non-promotional materials.
• Attend brand and medical meetings to communicate approval requirements and ensure compliant planning.
• Advise commercial and medical project owners on compliant solutions for business development, product launches, and marketing campaigns.
• Provide guidance on UK, international, and national pharmaceutical Codes of Practice.
• Support medical review projects, exception report evaluations, corrective actions, and team learning through PMCPA Code case presentations.

Requirements

• Life science degree.
• At least 3 years of approvals experience using ABPI Code quality standards, with detailed current knowledge of the Code.
• Experience analysing and communicating complex pharmacy, pharmacology, and medical issues across multiple therapeutic areas.
• Experience approving meetings, including certification of overseas meetings.
• Experience reviewing non-promotional materials such as corporate advertising, press releases, and market research materials.
• Experience in reference checking and copy approval.
