Sr. Mobile Engineer - Upcoming Apps Portfolio (Android & iOS) (Remote)

What you will do

• Design, develop, optimize, and ship user-facing features across Android and iOS applications.
• Take ownership of features and existing production codebases from concept through release.
• Understand unfamiliar architectures, dependencies, operational workflows, and incomplete documentation.
• Collaborate with backend engineering, product management, design, and users to validate hypotheses and deliver valuable experiences.
• Write maintainable, well-tested code and continuously release applications through Google Play and the Apple App Store.
• Use AI coding agents to plan, implement, test, review code, automate runbooks, and investigate incidents while verifying generated output.

Requirements

• 5+ years of professional mobile engineering experience in an agile environment.
• Production experience developing native applications for both Android and iOS.
• Android experience with Kotlin, Java, Jetpack Compose, Coroutines, Flow, Dagger/Hilt, Retrofit, and Room.
• iOS experience with Swift, SwiftUI, UIKit, Swift Concurrency, Combine, and Core Data or an equivalent technology.
• Experience with GitHub pull-request workflows, SOLID principles, clean coding, unit and integration testing, Espresso/UI Automator, XCTest/XCUITest, and app-store release compliance.
• Demonstrated day-to-day proficiency with agentic AI tools, plus strong debugging, analytical, organizational, ownership, and technical leadership skills.

Nice to have

• CI/CD experience with tools such as GitHub Actions.
• Experience with Kotlin Multiplatform, Flutter, React Native, or React/TypeScript.
• Experience integrating LLM or AI features into mobile applications or building agentic workflows and MCP-style tooling.
• Experience with mobile analytics, experimentation, advertising, monetization SDKs, or consumer utility applications.
