Manufacturing Lead (Medical Devices)

Location: Alajuela, Costa Rica; onsite manufacturing role

What you will do

• Manage Production Associates and coordinate daily assignments, workstation coverage, and line balancing.
• Perform complex manufacturing and inspection tasks for medical devices according to work instructions, operating procedures, and process documentation.
• Maintain operator certification coverage, train and coach less experienced associates, and support Bump-n-Slide procedures.
• Collect process data, complete production records, logbooks, travelers, and other manufacturing documentation.
• Communicate process, equipment, IT, Servoy, and Epicor issues to supervisors and support groups.
• Participate in process improvement, safety activities, and compliance with health, safety, environmental, QSR, ISO, and company requirements.

Requirements

• High school diploma and 6–7 years of related experience.
• Ability to read, write, and understand English.
• Experience using measuring devices, optical and magnification systems, visual inspection tools, and machine performance test results.
• Ability to interpret engineering drawings, technical documentation, safety rules, operating procedures, MSDS, and regulatory requirements.
• Basic computer skills, including email, word processing, spreadsheets, graphics, and associated production software.
• Ability to work varying shifts and overtime as required.

• Full-time schedule: Monday through Friday, 6:00 a.m. to 3:36 p.m.

• Special garments, annual visual-standard testing, and compliance with workplace safety procedures are required.
• Occasional travel may be required.
