DevOps Engineer (Kubernetes)

What you will do

• Design, implement, and operate scalable, highly available Kubernetes infrastructure for geographically distributed, event-driven systems.
• Build cloud-agnostic Kubernetes environments for high-throughput real-time event processing and manage automated scaling for changing workloads.
• Implement GitOps workflows and automate deployments, rollbacks, and infrastructure updates with Terraform or OpenTofu.
• Deploy and manage PostgreSQL, MySQL, MongoDB, and Redis within Kubernetes environments.
• Support event streaming, monitoring, logging, observability, security, networking, traffic management, and production troubleshooting.
• Collaborate with Go-based backend engineers and system architects to improve scalability, security, and operational efficiency across cloud environments.

Requirements

• 3+ years of experience designing and implementing Kubernetes infrastructure for large-scale, event-driven systems.
• Strong knowledge of Kubernetes orchestration, networking, security, scaling, Linux administration, and troubleshooting.
• Experience operating Kubernetes workloads in AWS and strong Infrastructure as Code experience with Terraform or OpenTofu.
• Hands-on experience with GitOps tools such as Flux or ArgoCD, automated CI/CD deployments, and Helm.
• Experience with event streaming and messaging technologies such as Kafka, NATS, or RabbitMQ.
• Ability to collaborate with Go-based backend teams on infrastructure automation and performance optimization.

Nice to have

• Experience with Prometheus, Grafana, Loki, or ELK for observability.
• Knowledge of advanced Kubernetes security practices, service mesh technologies, networking, and traffic management.
• Experience with multi-region deployments.
