Unity Developer (Unity)

Location: Europe or Ukraine; remote

Room8 Group is an independent external game development partner delivering co-development and full-cycle solutions for AAA and AA games across multiple platforms.

What you will do

• Develop and port games and applications for PlayStation, Xbox, Nintendo Switch, iOS, Android, Web, PC, and Mac.
• Implement new features and gameplay functionality using Unity and C#.
• Develop and maintain UI and user-facing features.
• Assist with technical documentation and participate in architecture discussions, design reviews, code reviews, and project estimations.
• Collaborate with Senior Developers and multidisciplinary teams to solve technical challenges.

Requirements

• 3+ years of experience with C# and Unity development.
• Strong knowledge of Unity and C#.
• Experience with web development, particularly JavaScript and React.
• Experience developing UI and working with Git or GitLab.
• Ability to understand and work with technical documentation.
• Intermediate+ English and effective collaboration skills in a multidisciplinary environment.

Nice to have

• Experience with Node, Coherent for Unity3D, ECS, or other UI tools.
• Experience with game profiling, debugging, and CPU, GPU, or memory optimization.
• Experience porting or developing games for Xbox or PlayStation.
