Senior Data Analyst (Bioinformatics / AI)

Location: Lyngby, Denmark; hybrid work with home-based and on-site presence at clients or hirify.global offices. Client-facing work may require travel as needed.

What you will do

• Integrate multi-modal omics, imaging, assay, and clinical data.
• Develop AI-driven discovery workflows and agentic systems for target discovery, biomarker ranking, and patient stratification.
• Design knowledge graphs, ontologies, semantic search, GraphRAG, and data foundations.
• Engineer reproducible, cloud-native bioinformatics pipelines using tools such as Nextflow.
• Build RAG pipelines, knowledge-graph elements, agentic workflows, and data-integration solutions end to end.
• Communicate insights through client-ready deliverables, presentations, case studies, proposals, and reusable project assets.

Requirements

• Master’s degree or PhD preferred in bioinformatics, computational biology, AI/ML, systems biology, chemoinformatics, or a related field.
• At least 2 years of consulting experience in the life sciences sector, specifically in bioinformatics.
• Strong Python coding skills; experience with R, SQL, or workflow languages such as Nextflow or WDL is desirable.
• Structured problem-solving skills, clear written and verbal communication, and comfort with ambiguity.
• Ability to connect technical work with client business decisions and participate in client discussions.
• Fluency in English and work authorization for the intended country of employment are required.
