What you will do
- Develop automated tools and infrastructure-as-code solutions for private cloud, network, and hardware fleet operations.
- Design OS and firmware update strategies that improve testing, stability, performance, security, and remote management.
- Build automated server and operating system image testing tools.
- Monitor server fleet health and performance, supporting proactive maintenance, strategic upgrades, and anomaly detection.
- Implement fleet management automation using Ansible, Terraform, Python, Go, and Rust.
- Collaborate with OpenStack, Ceph storage, and hybrid cloud teams on private cloud automation and infrastructure lifecycle strategies.
Requirements
- Professional development experience with Python, Go, Rust, or C.
- Experience with Ansible and Terraform in an enterprise private cloud environment.
- Hands-on experience managing operating systems, firmware, servers, and remote hardware management using Redfish, BMC, and IPMI.
- Understanding of server hardware architecture, including CPU, chipset, storage, GPU integration, and interoperability standards.
- Understanding of OpenStack and experience improving server fleet management and automation.
- Experience with logging and dashboards using tools such as Grafana, Prometheus, and Loki, plus a bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
Nice to have
- Certifications in hardware engineering, firmware management, or data center operations.
- Understanding of Active Directory, Windows Authentication, SAML, and OAuth.
