Senior Research Engineer (Machine Learning)

What you will do

• Help lead the development and global rollout of a research framework for defining and training trading models.
• Implement optimization workflows including supervised learning and backtesting.
• Integrate the research framework with the platform used to deploy and run models in production.
• Partner with Quantitative Researchers to test hypotheses and develop data-driven systematic trading strategies and alpha signals.

Requirements

• Advanced degree in Machine Learning, Statistics, Physics, Computer Science, or a related field.
• 8+ years of hands-on experience in MLOps, Research Engineering, or ML Research.
• Strong background in mathematics and statistics.
• Strong Python proficiency and experience with NumPy, PyTorch, Polars, Pandas, and Ray.
• Experience designing and implementing end-to-end machine learning pipelines covering data preprocessing, model training, deployment, and monitoring.
• Knowledge of modern software development practices, cloud platforms, and containerization technologies such as Docker and Kubernetes.
