Senior/Lead Test Automation Engineer (Playwright)

hirify.global is delivering a testing and engineering engagement for a global real estate services provider redesigning a key analytics platform.

What you will do

• Design, develop, and maintain scalable automation frameworks and test suites for integration, end-to-end, performance, and load testing.
• Extend Playwright solutions with GenAI capabilities, including visual recognition and intelligent element identification.
• Define and execute test strategies covering functionality, performance, reliability, and security.
• Analyze test results, identify defects, perform root-cause analysis, and drive issues to resolution.
• Collaborate with engineering, DevOps, and product teams, participate in code reviews, and improve testability and maintainability.
• Support production systems on AWS and prepare estimates and technical documentation for testing solutions.

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience in test automation engineering, software development in test, or a similar role.
• Strong expertise in Playwright and TypeScript, including Playwright MCP, agents, or advanced ecosystem tooling.
• Experience building automation frameworks for cloud-based SaaS applications and supporting AWS production environments.
• Familiarity with GenAI tools and APIs for test automation, such as OpenAI or Claude Sonnet.
• Strong understanding of unit, integration, end-to-end, performance, and load testing, plus debugging and root-cause analysis.
• Upper-Intermediate or higher English with strong written and verbal communication skills.
