Senior Software Engineer, AI Builder (Python)

What you will do

• Own product features from requirements and technical design through implementation, testing, deployment, and production monitoring.
• Work with Product to translate business problems into scalable technical solutions and execution plans.
• Design architectures, APIs, data models, integrations, and maintainable SaaS systems.
• Use AI coding agents for implementation, testing, debugging, documentation, and automation, while reviewing and improving the generated code.
• Make independent technical decisions, communicate trade-offs, and investigate complex production and performance issues.
• Contribute across backend, frontend, QA, CI/CD, infrastructure, and integrations when required.

Requirements

• BSc in Computer Science or equivalent experience.
• 7+ years of experience building and shipping production software, with end-to-end ownership of features or systems.
• Strong system design fundamentals and experience building scalable cloud-based SaaS systems.
• Experience with REST APIs, asynchronous programming, distributed systems, microservices, and testing.
• Hands-on experience with AI coding tools such as Claude Code, Cursor, Codex, GitHub Copilot, or similar, plus the ability to critically review AI-generated code.
• High proficiency in English and strong communication skills for direct collaboration with Product and engineering teams.

Nice to have

• Experience with modern frontend technologies, particularly Angular.
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines, Terraform, Helm, cloud infrastructure, Docker, or Kubernetes.
• Familiarity with Celery, RabbitMQ, event-driven architectures, or streaming systems.
• Experience with QA automation and end-to-end testing.
