CAN/LIN System Development Engineer (Automotive): Supporting vehicle communication system development, ECU integration, and network validation with an accent on CAN/LIN interfaces, AUTOSAR constraints, and automotive communication files. Focus on defining messages and signals, analysing communication traces, coordinating architecture decisions, and solving abnormal network behaviour across engineering teams.

What you will do
- Support CAN/LIN system development at project level and ensure consistency between system requirements, communication interfaces, and vehicle network implementation.
- Define and maintain CAN/LIN messages, signals, parameters, and communication interfaces in line with ECU and system requirements.
- Prepare and maintain communication specifications and files, including MSRS, DBC, ARXML, and LDF.
- Support ECU communication integration, network testing, validation, and communication maturity tracking.
- Analyse communication traces and abnormal network behaviour, contributing to troubleshooting and root-cause analysis.
- Coordinate with System, E/E Architecture, Software, ECU, and Validation teams on architecture decisions, change impact analysis, and project convergence.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s or master’s degree in electrical/electronic engineering, automotive engineering, mechatronics, embedded systems, system engineering, or a related field.
- Professional experience in automotive E/E, vehicle communication, ECU integration, or system engineering development.
- Solid knowledge of CAN and LIN protocols, network architecture, messages, signals, timing, and automotive communication interfaces.
- Knowledge of AUTOSAR communication concepts and experience with DBC, ARXML, and LDF formats.
- Experience with CAN/LIN network analysis, troubleshooting, trace interpretation, validation, and change impact analysis.
- Good written and spoken English is required.
