Platform Professional Services, Sr. Analyst (Cybersecurity)

What you will do

• Handle and remediate security incidents across Windows, Mac, and Linux environments.
• Perform static and dynamic malware analysis and conduct computer and network forensic investigations.
• Develop and improve incident detection processes, countermeasures, security content, and automations across EDR/SIEM modules.
• Optimize CrowdStrike Falcon configurations and support client onboarding and implementation of additional security modules.
• Prepare customer-facing communications, recommendations, findings, and remediation plans during security incidents.
• Share industry expertise through blog posts, CrowdCasts, public speaking, and operational improvements.

Requirements

• Experience in a SOC, malware analysis, incident response, or information security environment.
• Background in incident handling, targeted threat investigations, computer forensics, network forensics, systems administration, or secure network operations.
• Ability to perform malware analysis and create tactical and strategic remediation plans for compromised organizations.
• Programming or scripting experience with Python, PowerShell, .NET, or other relevant languages.
• Ability to complete technical work independently, manage projects, communicate with customers during incidents, and contribute to the incident response industry.
• Experience using AI technologies to improve decision-making, workflows, efficiency, and business outcomes.

Nice to have

• BA or BS in Computer Science or a related field.
