Environmental Health & Safety Manager

Location: Susurluk, Balıkesir, Turkey; willingness to relocate or residence in the Bursa/Balıkesir area required

What you will do

• Lead environmental, health, safety, operational risk management, and security performance across hirify.global Turkey’s factory and seasonal operations.
• Maintain compliance with federal, state, local, and hirify.global EHS policies, procedures, guidelines, and operating principles.
• Identify EHS and security risks, lead mitigation and elimination plans, and track progress.
• Drive continuous improvement through Manufacturing Excellence and EHS capability programs.
• Lead ESG and sustainability initiatives, including sustainable agriculture practices and FSA audit reviews.
• Oversee environmental processes, logistics safety, security, infirmary, weigh bridge operations, wastewater treatment, waste management, emergency planning, and annual EHS audits.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s or master’s degree in engineering or a related field.
• At least 5 years of managerial experience in EHS.
• Class A or Class B occupational safety specialist certificate required.
• Autonomous leadership, analytical thinking, strong communication, and a results-driven approach.
• Ability to simplify complex problems, perform root-cause analysis, and work with different organizational levels.
• Good level of English and residence in or willingness to relocate to the Bursa/Balıkesir area.
