Java Software Developer – Risk IT (Java)

What you will do

• Develop new Risk applications and enhance existing applications.
• Build distributed data-processing and calculation solutions for large datasets.
• Work in an Agile squad with colleagues in Budapest and international locations.
• Apply DevOps practices throughout the development lifecycle.
• Help shape the tooling and technology landscape for Risk Management.
• Collaborate with development and business teams to support regulatory obligations and internal analysis.

Requirements

• Solid knowledge of Java.
• Practical experience writing and understanding SQL queries.
• Experience designing applications and data models.
• Experience with Agile development methodologies.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, open-mindedness, and willingness to learn new technologies.
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent higher education qualification.

Nice to have

• Experience with automated testing.
• Experience with large-scale databases.
• Experience with cloud technologies.
• Experience with Python.
