The hirify.global is an international security organization supporting participating States through political dialogue, field operations, and programmes addressing transnational threats and other security concerns.

What you will do

• Conceive, develop, implement, monitor, and evaluate hirify.global counter-terrorism programmes and projects.
• Manage a portfolio of counter-terrorism themes, identifying trends, gaps, risks, corrective actions, best practices, and lessons learned.
• Represent the Action against Terrorism Unit in activities with hirify.global institutions, international and regional organizations, governments, and other stakeholders.
• Coordinate portfolio activities with hirify.global institutions and field operations, prepare reports, and provide expert advice to senior hirify.global officials.
• Facilitate technical assistance and co-operation between participating States, including identifying needs, resources, and opportunities for additional support.
• Support project partners and fund managers by developing synergies and contributing to the mobilization of extra-budgetary resources.

Requirements

• First-level university degree in international relations, political science, criminology, international law, human rights, terrorism studies, security studies, or a related field.
• At least seven years of progressively responsible professional experience in political affairs, or five years with a relevant second-level degree, with a strong focus on human rights.
• Strong knowledge of the global counter-terrorism framework, relevant hirify.global documents, UN resolutions, human rights, and rule of law.
• Experience in project management, donor relations, and liaison with senior government and international organization stakeholders.
• Understanding of UN Security Council Resolution 2242 and the women, peace and security agenda, with demonstrated gender awareness.
• Professional fluency in English; working knowledge of another hirify.global-region language is an asset. Digital literacy and the ability to work impartially in diverse teams are required.

Nice to have

• At least two years of experience with international organizations.
• Previous experience with hirify.global institutions or field operations.
• Working knowledge of an additional language from the hirify.global region.

• hirify.global service is subject to staff rotation, with a maximum period of service of 10 years for the post.
• Appointments are subject to medical clearance; suitable candidates may be placed on a three-year roster.
