Location: Milan, Italy; hybrid work with the possibility of working remotely when the role does not require onsite presence

What you will do

  • Drive supplier contribution improvements, including year-end agreements and commercial contributions.
  • Optimize invoice rebates and payment terms.
  • Negotiate and manage promotional plans with suppliers.
  • Lead annual supplier negotiations and in-year renegotiations after onboarding.
  • Manage a broad supplier portfolio and substantial purchasing volumes.
  • Oversee purchasing activities across multiple product categories, including OTC, supplements, and cosmetics.

Requirements

  • Solid experience in buying, strategic purchasing, or category management.
  • Direct experience with supplier negotiations, commercial terms, and supplier management.
  • Mandatory background in pharma retail, para-pharmacy, dermocosmetics, cosmetics, food supplements, or beauty.
  • Experience supporting category growth in a fast-moving retail or wholesale environment.
  • Strong negotiation, stakeholder communication, and commercial skills.
  • Fluent English required. A university degree is preferred.
