Summer 2027 - Finance Intern

Location: On-site in Austin, Texas, United States. Applicants must be U.S. citizens, lawful permanent residents, conditional residents, asylees, refugees, or eligible to obtain the required U.S. government authorizations.

What you will do

• Support month-end closing, financial reporting, expense and accrual analysis, and accounting record maintenance.
• Compile variance analyses, quarterly financial statements, and cash flow models.
• Collaborate with Supply Chain, Operations, Manufacturing, and Business Development on cross-functional accounting and reporting projects.
• Help improve business processes, implement internal controls, and support audit and compliance requirements.
• Complete accounting research, ad hoc finance projects, and daily finance tasks.

Requirements

• Current enrollment in a BS or MS program in Finance or Accounting at an accredited university.
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks, meet tight deadlines, and work independently or collaboratively.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, cross-functional environment and handle multiple responsibilities.
• Eligibility to work under U.S. Space Technology Export Regulations is required.

Nice to have

• Experience with an ERP system such as Acumatica, NetSuite, SAP, or Oracle.
• Experience with data science or business analytics software.
• Knowledge of GAAP and financial reporting requirements.
