Senior Regulatory & Compliance Engineer II (Consumer Electronics)

What you will do

• Own and manage product testing and certification against regulatory standards.
• Lead agency approval and compliance activities, including quotations, purchase requests, schedules, reports, test procedures, and test plans.
• Build relationships with regulatory agencies, product safety and EMI/EMC bodies, vendors, and suppliers.
• Develop and maintain in-house test procedures, test plans, and compliance guidelines aligned with evolving standards.
• Review product designs during development and coordinate root cause analysis for regulatory non-compliance issues.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or an equivalent combination of experience and training.
• 5–8 years of progressive experience in electronics design and development engineering.
• Experience with consumer product safety, EMI/EMC, RF testing, test prediction, assessment, and data analysis.
• Strong knowledge of product certification and global market access requirements, with hands-on experience obtaining regulatory approvals for consumer electronics.
• Excellent written and verbal communication, interpersonal, organizational, and prioritization skills.

Nice to have

• Experience with environmental compliance requirements such as EU WEEE, RoHS, and REACH.
