TL;DR
(Associate) Principal Scientist Bioanalytics (Biopharmaceuticals): Leading pharmaceutical development projects and delivering analytical testing, documentation, and reports for drug product programs with an accent on cell-based potency assays, analytical method development, and bioanalytical investigations. Focus on optimizing, transferring, and troubleshooting assays, managing project risks, and serving as a subject matter expert in complex customer and internal meetings.

What you will do

  • Lead and manage pharmaceutical development projects for drug entities within Development Bioanalytics.
  • Deliver analytical work packages on time, including method establishment and pre-validation, non-GMP batch release, stability studies, testing results, documents, and reports.
  • Lead investigations in compliance with ISO standards and proactively resolve delivery risks and issues.
  • Represent Development Bioanalytics in internal project and customer meetings as a subject matter expert for complex topics.
  • Support stakeholders in maintaining relevant project planning tools.

Requirements

  • PhD in Biochemistry, Biotechnology, Analytical Science, or a related Life Sciences field, or equivalent relevant experience.
  • Experience in the biopharmaceutical industry as a research or technical expert, preferably with potency assays for antibodies, enzymes, peptides, recombinant proteins, ADCs, and other modalities.
  • Strong expertise in setting up, optimizing, transferring, and troubleshooting cell-based assays.
  • Broad knowledge of mammalian cell culture, ELISA, enzyme assays, SPR, and ligand-binding assays.
  • Knowledge of ICH Q14 and ICH Q2 guidelines for analytical methods.
  • Fluent English is required. Additional languages are a plus.
