AI Engineer (GenAI)

What you will do

• Develop production-ready GenAI and agentic solutions for Software Delivery Lifecycle workflows, from concept through production.
• Build Python-based services on Google Cloud using Vertex AI, FastAPI, LangChain, and Google ADK.
• Design reliable, secure, observable, scalable, and cost-efficient multi-agent systems and cloud-native AI workflows.
• Integrate GitHub-based CI/CD workflows, automation, Infrastructure as Code, and operational practices such as Terraform.
• Evaluate, test, monitor, and improve AI agent quality through feedback loops.
• Collaborate with SREs, software engineers, product partners, and subject-matter experts to deliver measurable engineering outcomes.

Requirements

• Solid software engineering background in backend, platform, cloud, data, or a related area.
• Experience designing, building, documenting, testing, reviewing, and evolving production-ready solutions with Python, GitHub-based version control, RAG, vector databases, Docker, Terraform, and cloud-native patterns.
• Ability to design and deliver reliable, scalable APIs and asynchronous services using REST or gRPC.
• Experience with testing, documentation, code review, CI/CD, DevOps practices, and ownership of running systems.
• Ability to translate loosely defined problems into clear solutions and adapt to evolving GenAI, LLM, agent orchestration, and LLMOps concepts.
• Strong communication, collaboration, and technical judgment.

Nice to have

• Experience with Kubernetes, OpenShift, or equivalent container orchestration platforms.
• Understanding of LLM architecture, evaluation, limitations, and responsible AI use.
• Experience with enterprise LLMs, agentic frameworks, event-driven architecture, OpenAPI, or high-throughput API services.
• Open-source contributions or other evidence of knowledge sharing and engineering craft.
