Paid Voice Acting & Improv Work (AI)

Location: Chicago, IL; in-person recording sessions at a local studio, with possible short travel to a downtown Columbus studio

Pay: $50 per hour, typically $200 for a four-hour session; rates may increase for significant improv, voice, or stage experience.

What you will do

• Perform unscripted, improv-style scenarios involving everyday household activities in a staged home environment.
• Interact naturally and conversationally with a voice assistant during each scenario.
• Perform on camera and audio for AI research and training recordings.
• Complete four-hour recording sessions and book additional shifts if desired.

Requirements

• Located in or near Chicago, IL and able to attend in-person recording sessions.
• At least 18 years old.
• Improv training or performance experience, including classes, student troupes, community theatre, open mics, voice work, or live entertainment.
• Comfortable performing without a script and being recorded on camera and audio for a full session.
• Reliable and able to arrive on time for scheduled shifts.

Nice to have

• Significant improvisation, voice, or stage experience.

Hiring process
