What you will do
- Design, build, and maintain scalable Python Flask API applications with low-latency responses.
- Develop batch and streaming data ingestion using SQL databases such as PostgreSQL and NoSQL systems such as Redis.
- Implement REST API endpoints on Kubernetes with API gateways such as KONG.
- Build reliable fraud recommendation applications powered by data pipelines, machine learning models, and infrastructure.
- Collaborate with senior engineers, data analysts, data scientists, and product managers to deliver data solutions.
- Monitor applications, troubleshoot issues, and document data sources, transformations, and architecture decisions.
Requirements
- Experience building software and data applications at scale.
- Strong Python and SQL development skills.
- Experience with REST APIs, data ingestion, and SQL or NoSQL databases.
- Understanding of containerization and Kubernetes deployment using ArgoCD.
- Ability to write clean, efficient, documented code and test cases.
- Ability to participate in code reviews, technical planning, and agile ceremonies.
Nice to have
- Experience with PySpark.
