Anatomy & Physiology Visiting Professor (Microbiology)

Location: On-site in Jacksonville, FL, USA; courses meet on campus twice a week for eight-week sessions.

Compensation: $1,120–$7,245 per assignment, depending on education and experience.

What you will do

• Teach undergraduate BSN nursing students in Fundamentals of Microbiology with Lab.
• Prepare and maintain an approved syllabus aligned with course objectives.
• Organize, update, and deliver lectures, laboratory exercises, online discussions, and assignments.
• Set course expectations, examination schedules, and evaluation criteria.
• Prepare and grade examinations consistently while providing timely student feedback.
• Use course-related software, websites, email, and other instructional technologies.

Requirements

• Master’s degree with at least 18 graduate credit hours in the subject taught for undergraduate instruction.
• Relevant subject-matter expertise and excellent communication skills.
• Strong motivational and instructional skills in a diverse, non-traditional learning environment.
• Ability to work collegially and facilitate collaboration among diverse groups.
• Additional state licensing or accreditation requirements may apply.
