Customer Solutions Architect / AI Engineer (AI)

Location: Hybrid in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia

What you will do

• Lead the technical side of new-logo sales cycles, including discovery, architecture design, competitive positioning, and solution validation.
• Design and run proof-of-concepts using customer workloads and representative data, covering setup, testing, execution, results review, and stakeholder presentations.
• Demonstrate hirify.global Compute Engine and Elastic Compute capabilities for workload scaling, cost efficiency, and resource separation.
• Build reference architectures, competitive summaries, PoC frameworks, and reusable field materials for APJ.
• Work with sales, product, engineering, and customer teams to identify opportunities, communicate product feedback, and support commercial decisions.
• Participate in prospect briefings, industry events, and field marketing activities across APJ.

Requirements

• 8+ years of experience in presales or solution architecture, focused on new business and competitive sales cycles.
• Experience contributing to new-logo wins, including completed PoCs, closed competitive deals, and successful technical evaluations.
• Practical experience with AWS, Azure, or GCP and knowledge of cloud-native and hybrid cloud data platforms.
• Knowledge of data platform architecture, parallel processing, lakehouse patterns, streaming ingestion, query benchmarking, and platform sizing.
• Working knowledge of RAG architecture, vector stores, embedding models, similarity search, and enterprise LLM workflows.
• Practical SQL and Python skills, strong presentation and technical writing abilities, and new-business experience across APJ.

Nice to have

• Experience with financial services, retail and consumer goods, public sector, manufacturing, or supply chain data platforms.
• Experience using AI Studio or a comparable platform in customer demonstrations or PoCs.
• Degree in computer science, software engineering, mathematics, data science, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience.
