Salary: $83,000–$114,000 per year

What you will do
- Perform settlement calculations for the nodal market.
- Respond to market participant questions, disputes, and data errors related to settlement computations.
- Write and execute SQL queries for analytical reports.
- Develop and execute SAS code, test cases, test scripts, test data, and validation tools for settlement system changes.
- Support the implementation, certification, testing, and enhancement of commercial operations systems.
- Develop settlement protocol language and system requirements, communicate technical concepts, and collaborate across departments.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Engineering, Mathematics, Finance, or a related field, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Level I requires no experience beyond degree requirements; Level II requires at least 2 years of relevant experience; Senior Level requires at least 5 years.
- Working knowledge of competitive energy markets, power systems, market data flows, and settlement systems.
- Experience with or aptitude for SQL, Visual Basic, and SAS.
- Ability to interpret and manipulate algebraic equations and communicate complex technical concepts to technical and non-technical audiences.
- Ability to work on-site in Taylor, Texas at least 2 days per week and perform remote work from a Texas residence.
