What you will do

• Architect 3D object detection models, including multimodal camera, LiDAR, and radar approaches.
• Build and maintain data collection and evaluation pipelines with relevant metrics.
• Develop proprietary multimodal datasets for training and evaluation.
• Train, deploy, and monitor 2D/3D object detection models in production.
• Build and execute the roadmap for the perception system.
• Mentor junior engineers on engineering best practices.

Requirements

• Master’s or PhD in Computer Science, Robotics, Deep Learning, or a related field.
• 7+ years of focused experience architecting and deploying 2D/3D object detection models.
• Experience across the full perception stack, including sensing, preprocessing, detection, and tracking.
• Proficiency in Python.
• Ability to identify gaps and lead cross-functional projects.

Nice to have

• PhD in Computer Science, Robotics, or a related discipline.
• Full-stack autonomous-vehicle knowledge.
• Experience architecting perception systems for detection and tracking.
• Publications in major conferences such as CVPR, ICRA, NeurIPS, IJCAI, or AAAI.
