VFX Artist (Mobile, Unity)

Location: Remote worldwide. Working hours are 10 AM–7 PM GMT+3, with possible adjustment.

Nekki is a game development studio with more than 20 years of experience creating mobile, PC, and console games, including the Shadow Fight and Vector franchises.

What you will do

• Create visual effects for characters, environments, and weapons.
• Design effects that communicate the physicality and power of strikes, hits, falls, and other animations.
• Develop and integrate real-time VFX for Shadow Fight 4: Arena in Unity.
• Participate in playtesting and suggest improvements to the game experience from a VFX perspective.

Requirements

• 1–3 years of experience creating visual effects for realistic or stylized games.
• Proficiency in Unity and ability to write shaders in code.
• Required portfolio demonstrating 3D VFX work.
• Fluent Russian communication is required.

Nice to have

• Experience creating flipbooks with frame-by-frame animation.
• Strong artistic skills.
• Experience optimizing visual effects.
