Internal AI Engineer (SaaS)

Location: Must be based in or able to work from Lisbon, Portugal (Hybrid)

What you will do

• Design, build, and deploy internal AI-powered tools, automations, and workflows.
• Translate business needs from teams like Sales, Finance, and HR into reliable, scalable AI solutions.
• Connect internal data systems and build shared building blocks for AI applications.
• Move solutions from prototype to production, ensuring reliability, monitoring, and performance.
• Collaborate with the AI Transformation Lead to prioritize and execute high-impact internal projects.

Requirements

• 3-8 years of experience in software engineering or product engineering.
• Hands-on experience deploying LLM-based solutions into production environments.
• Strong technical skills in SQL, API integration, and data modeling.
• Familiarity with SaaS tech stacks such as Salesforce, Slack, M365, and Snowflake.
• Ability to operate in ambiguity and define a technical roadmap.
• Must be able to work in a hybrid model in Lisbon, Portugal.

Nice to have

• Experience with no-code/low-code automation tools like Zapier or Make.
