What you will do
- Manage end-to-end raw material planning and coordinate purchase orders with internal and external suppliers.
- Maintain planning parameters in systems such as RapidResponse to support accurate procurement and supply plans.
- Coordinate with planners, procurement, suppliers, logistics providers, manufacturing, quality, and production teams to resolve supply risks.
- Develop and communicate material and production plans, including manufacturing order sequencing and line loading based on forecasts, the Master Production Schedule, and capacity requirements.
- Monitor production performance, identify shortages and constraints, and develop alternative plans to maintain production continuity.
- Support continuous improvement projects involving planning systems, procurement, production planning, inventory management, and supply chain efficiency.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree or at least 3 years of experience in supply chain planning within a complex manufacturing environment.
- Strong understanding of production planning, material planning, inventory management, and supply chain processes.
- Experience with ERP or planning systems, such as RapidResponse.
- Experience collaborating with cross-functional stakeholders and external suppliers.
- Strong problem-solving, risk management, data analysis, reporting, and stakeholder communication skills.
