TL;DR
Data Engineer (Big Data/Cloud): Building and improving scalable data platforms, warehouses, and automated pipelines for a B2B SaaS product with an accent on data architecture, governance, quality, and observability. Focus on designing production-ready ingestion and transformation systems, controlling pipeline reliability and cost, and enabling analytics, product data features, and ML/AI use cases.

What you will do
- Design, build, deploy, and manage scalable data platforms and automated data pipelines using cloud and on-premise technologies.
- Define data platform architecture, technical standards, deployment practices, and a roadmap aligned with product strategy.
- Develop and maintain data products, warehouses, lakes, ingestion processes, transformations, and streaming integrations.
- Improve data quality, governance, lineage, versioning, observability, documentation, and ownership across the stack.
- Support Git, CI/CD, release, and deployment processes for data engineering.
- Collaborate with Product, business teams, Data specialists, and the C-suite on strategic data initiatives.
Requirements
- Master's degree in computer science, distributed systems, data engineering, engineering, or equivalent experience.
- 5+ years of experience with intensive data platforms, Big Data, and cloud infrastructures.
- Strong knowledge of SQL, Python, Spark, Big Data architecture, DBMS, data warehouse modelling, optimisation, and management.
- Experience with BigQuery, Snowflake, Databricks, storage systems, Delta Lake, Kafka, Pub/Sub, and scalable ingestion and transformation pipelines.
- Experience with DataOps practices including Git, Docker, CI/CD, Jenkins, deployment workflows, data quality, and governance.
- Fluent French and English required; the role is remote from France.

- Experience with NoSQL, search, or OLAP databases.
- Previous experience in B2B SaaS.
