TL;DR
Data Science Intern – Marketing Mix Modelling (Python/econometrics): Building ETL pipelines and analytical models to measure the impact of marketing investments, with an accent on marketing mix modelling, forecasting, and large-scale data analysis. Focus on extracting and standardising data, developing reusable solutions across markets, and translating complex analyses into actionable business insights.
Location: Amsterdam, Netherlands; hybrid with 2 days per week in the office

What you will do
- Extract data from files, databases, and other sources, then standardise and integrate it.
- Build and maintain ETL pipelines for marketing and business data.
- Develop time-series, linear regression, and other models to measure marketing effectiveness.
- Support data analysts and data scientists with ad hoc analyses and presentations.
- Collaborate with data scientists to turn prototypes into reusable solutions and scale them across markets and businesses.
Requirements
- Currently pursuing a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Statistics, Applied Mathematics, Engineering, Computer Science, Economics, or a related quantitative field, with an affinity for Marketing.
- Must remain registered as a student for the entire 6-month internship period.
- Experience with Python and data wrangling or engineering for Extract-Transform-Load activities.
- Ability to work with data from files, databases, and other systems.
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Excel, including Pivot Tables, Lookups, and INDEX-MATCH.
- Students from outside the EU must complete a NUFFIC agreement signed by the student and their university.
