Operational Risk Analyst

Location: Copenhagen, Denmark; 4 days in the office

What you will do

• Own and continuously develop the operational risk framework, including risk assessments, incident management, and clear business-oriented actions.
• Advise the business on operational risk, incidents, and controls.
• Facilitate risk self-assessment workshops and maintain processes for registering, tracking, and reporting risks.
• Provide input to ICAAP and reporting for management and the board.
• Own governance of the Product Approval Process and ensure operational risks are assessed for new products and initiatives.
• Identify process gaps and drive continuous improvement across the risk function.

Requirements

• Deep experience in operational risk management within a financial institution.
• Experience with risk assessments, incidents, controls, business continuity, third-party management, and procurement.
• Strong understanding of the regulatory landscape for licensed financial institutions, including DORA.
• Good technical understanding of processes, systems, and the teams operating them.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills in English and Danish.
• Structured, ownership-oriented approach with confidence presenting findings and reporting to management.
