TL;DR
Senior AI Solution Engineer (AI): Building and operating end-to-end AI applications for an international sports booking platform with an accent on stakeholder discovery, production LLM systems, and measurable evaluation. Focus on designing RAG and prompt-engineering solutions, iterating from real usage data, and supporting reliable deployment and on-call operation.
Location: Vienna, Austria; hybrid work with on-site attendance 2–3 times per week
Salary: Minimum annual gross salary of €75,000 for a full-time 35-hour week

What you will do
- Ship AI applications end to end, from discovery and design through development, evaluation, deployment, and operation.
- Partner with functional stakeholders to identify and scope suitable AI applications.
- Translate stakeholder needs into application architecture using the AI capability stack, including gateway, retrieval, and evaluation.
- Define and execute technical and product evaluation plans, including experiments and production metrics.
- Monitor adoption and real-world usage, iterate on applications, and provide on-call support.
- Represent the AI team through demos, training, and adoption support for functional users and leaders.
Requirements
- 5+ years of engineering experience, including at least 18 months building production LLM or AI application systems.
- Demonstrated end-to-end ownership of production AI applications.
- Production experience with RAG, prompt engineering, and LLM application evaluation.
- Experience with quantitative evaluation, experiments, and iteration based on production metrics and user behavior.
- Solid production cloud experience, hands-on coding fluency, and on-call experience; AWS with Bedrock is strongly preferred.
- Strong product thinking and written and verbal communication skills, including direct work with non-technical stakeholders.
Nice to have
- Experience with SaaS, marketplaces, or two-sided consumer platforms.
- Experience with AWS, Snowflake, and dbt.
- Familiarity with LLM application evaluation tooling.
- Knowledge of GDPR and EU AI Act implications for user-facing AI.
