Tax Intern (Agriculture)

Location: Fargo or Grand Forks, North Dakota, US. Work location and schedule depend on business needs and proximity to an AgCountry office.

Salary: $20.00 per hour

What you will do

• Provide tax preparation support to Tax Officers.
• Key and reconcile small to moderately complex income tax returns for farming operations.
• Examine accounts and records to calculate taxes according to applicable laws and regulations.
• Collaborate with Tax Officers to complete the workload accurately and efficiently.
• Build knowledge of tax, accounting, technology, and the agricultural industry.

Requirements

• Some post-secondary education in accounting, business, or a related field.
• Strong attention to detail and analytical skills.
• Clear verbal and written communication skills.
• High proficiency with computer applications.
• Strong interest in developing knowledge of agricultural finance, lending, and credit.
