Deployed Engineer (AI)

What you will do

• Design agent architectures, review evaluation strategies, and provide production guidance to enterprise customers.
• Translate ambiguous enterprise workflows into concrete software specifications and guide customer engineering teams through implementation.
• Co-build reliable production agents across the full Agent Development Lifecycle.
• Embed with customer teams for extended engagements and ship agent systems alongside their engineers.
• Design orchestration patterns, evaluation systems, conversational UIs, and production deployments.
• Apply post-training, trace mining, model selection, and evaluation methodologies to improve AI systems.

Requirements

• 4+ years of software engineering experience with deep expertise in Python.
• 2+ years of hands-on experience building and shipping production agent systems.
• Strong client-facing communication skills and the ability to explain architectural decisions to technical stakeholders.
• Strong experience with LangChain, LangGraph, Deep Agents, or comparable frameworks, including multi-agent patterns and state management.
• Deep familiarity with evaluation methodologies for non-deterministic AI systems and comfort working across advisory and embedded delivery.
• Willingness to travel up to 20% of the time.

Nice to have

• TypeScript or JavaScript experience.
• Dataset curation and post-training experience with SFT, DPO, or RLHF on open-weight models.
• Experience with Axolotl, Unsloth, Hugging Face Transformers, or TRL.
• Experience using trace mining to drive continuous improvement loops.
