Software Development Engineer Co-op (Jan. 2027) (Mobile Games)

Location: Remote within Canada; candidates must be legally eligible to work in and located in Canada, with availability during core hours from 11am to 4pm PST.

What you will do

• Build features, systems, and tools for live mobile games.
• Develop full-stack functionality across client code and backend server support.
• Work with artists and designers from product design through implementation, playtesting, and metrics analysis.
• Build systems that support reliable deployment to a distributed backend.
• Create tools for player management, data pipelines, game design workflows, and art content pipelines.
• Implement scalable, reliable, and maintainable technologies used by millions of players.

Requirements

• Must be enrolled in an accredited degree program in winter 2027.
• Full-stack or generalist engineering approach with an interest in both client- and server-side development.
• Strong understanding of object-oriented design, data structures, and algorithms.
• Clear communication in code and writing.
• Interest in and experience playing mobile games.
• Must be legally eligible to work in and located in Canada.
