Biotechnologist I (Cell Therapy)

Location: On-site in Portsmouth, New Hampshire, United States. The role follows a 12-hour day shift from 7:00 AM to 7:00 PM on a rotating schedule.

What you will do

• Support cell therapy manufacturing operations in accordance with safety, quality, and cGMP requirements.
• Perform cleaning activities and maintain inspection-ready manufacturing spaces.
• Complete training in safety, gowning, material movement, environmental monitoring, and manufacturing processes.
• Support technical transfers, including training runs, engineering runs, and process-readiness activities.
• Create, review, and update manufacturing documentation while learning customer processes transferred to the Portsmouth facility.
• Collaborate with Manufacturing, Quality, MSAT, and other teams to support project milestones.

Requirements

• Experience in a GMP, biotechnology, pharmaceutical, or manufacturing environment is preferred.
• Basic understanding of cGMP principles and cleanroom operations is preferred.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills, with the ability to follow detailed procedures in a fast-paced environment.
• Basic computer skills and familiarity with Microsoft Office applications.
• Willingness to learn new processes, equipment, and systems, with a commitment to safety, quality, and continuous improvement.
• An associate or bachelor's degree in a scientific or technical field is preferred.
