Junior Project Controller (Engineering)

Location: Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, United States; in-office environment with travel to construction sites in Pittsburgh

What you will do

• Gather and update site information in GIS systems and manage contractors’ payment applications.
• Set up and maintain timesheet, time-charge, WBS, performance measurement, and project budget systems.
• Collect progress and actual-workhour data and prepare, check, and distribute project reports.
• Maintain staffing plans, forecasts, estimates at completion, and engineering schedules.
• Manage project change registers and support change notices from identification through approval.
• Maintain engagement milestones and align EPCM budgets and forecasts with project changes and trends.

Requirements

• Recent or soon-to-be university or college graduate with a relevant bachelor’s or master’s degree, or appropriate project experience.
• Minimum cumulative GPA of 3.0 on a 4.0 scale.
• Computer literacy and ability to learn SAP, ERP, and ArcGIS systems.
• Hands-on knowledge of Primavera P6 or MS Project, plus knowledge of earned value and cost management concepts.
• Strong organization, attention to detail, communication, collaboration, critical thinking, and problem-solving skills.
• Must be able to travel to construction sites in Pittsburgh.

• Previous co-op or internship experience.
